Fixtures of ICC Champions Trophy 2017

The 2017 ICC Champions Trophy is scheduled to be a One Day International (ODI) cricket tournament held in England and Wales between 1 and 18 June 2017.This will be the 8th edition of the tournament. The top eight teams in the ICC ODI Championship rankings as on 30 September 2015 qualify for the tournament. The eight teams were divided into two groups of four.

Bangladesh replaced the West Indies, who finished outside the top eight in ninth positions, in the ICC ODI Team Rankings on the cut-off date. Bangladesh returned to the ICC Champions Trophy for the first time since 2006, and for the first time a major Test team, the West Indies, lost their place in the Champions Trophy.

As on 30 September 2015, top eight sides in the ODI ranking have qualified for the ICC Champions Trophy 2017

Who Will Win The Next Do or Die Challenge in IPL t20 2016.....KKR or SRH? Who?

Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders will come up again against each other in 2nd Play off of VIVO IPL 2016.

In their opening fixture of the season, SRH were blown away by Kolkata’s Yusuf and Manish. Though the team put up a fight at the start of their run-chase, with captain David Warner taking the fight to the opposition, there was little else to support the captain. Not only did SRH lose the match, but one of their key players – Ashish Nehra – left the field midway through an over with what appeared to be a groin strain. It is expected that SRH will be without the services of Nehra for a while and therefore the team needs to quickly find someone who can do the job Nehra was expected to do.

The Kolkata Knight Riders started their season with a thumping victory against the Delhi Daredevils, after which they stumbled in their match against the defending champions Mumbai Indians. Despite scoring 187, KKR failed to defend the total, with the bowlers coming in for a bit of a pasting at the hands of Rohit Sharma and Jos Buttler.But KKR day by day provedd their power and take a place top 4.

Mustafiz's Hyderabad thrash Mumbai

Riding on Shikhar Dhawan’s unbeaten 82 followed by an impressive performance by the bowlers, Sunrisers Hyderabad outclassed defending champions Mumbai Indians by 85 runs in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Sunday.

Batting first, Sunrisers posted an impressive 177/3 in 20 overs. Dhawan was well supported at the other end by David Warner (48 of 33 balls) and Yuvraj Singh (39 off 23 balls).

Former Australian opening batsman Matthew Hayden has lauded Tigers’ sensational pacer Mustafizur Rahman’s brilliant bowling performance as he is playing for the franchise team Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing lucrative IPL tournament.  During the commentary time when Mumbai Indians played against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday the former Aussie great batsman praised Mustafizur’s .

Former Australian opening batsman Matthew Hayden has lauded Tigers’ sensational pacer Mustafizur Rahman’s brilliant bowling performance as he is playing for the franchise team Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing lucrative IPL tournament.

During the commentary time when Mumbai Indians played against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday the former Aussie great batsman praised Mustafizur’s amazing bowling performance.

He said, “In my opinion, Jasaprit Bumrah and Mustafizur Rahman are the two best bowlers in the IPL so far. Both of them are outstanding bowlers . The two young men are well ahead of everyone else in this IPL tournament. ”

Hayden also worked as a commentator during the Asia Cup 2016 and watched closely Mustafizur’s bowling performance.

Shahadat Hossain, Bangladesh cricketer, asks for end to ban..

A Bangladeshi Test cricketer has asked to be allowed to return to the sport after being charged with torturing his 11-year-old housemaid.

Shahadat Hossain was suspended by the Bangladeshi Cricket Board (BCB) after he and his wife were arrested on suspicion of torturing the girl.
Mr Hossain, 29, has previously denied abusing Mahfuza Akhter Happy. He is currently out of prison on bail.
He apologised for his "mistake" in a news conference.
He said: "I beg forgiveness to the country. To err is human, and I have made a mistake.
"For the sake of cricket and my livelihood, I want to return to cricket. I appeal to the nation, the Bangladeshi Cricket Board (BCB), to allow me to return to cricket and correct my mistake."

'Beaten and tortured'

Miss Happy was found in a street in September 2015 with multiple injuries, including a broken leg and a black eye.
She told police that she had been working for the couple for a year and that they had beaten and tortured her.

Mr Hossain had initially reported her as missing. He later handed himself in to police.
He and his wife, Jasmine Jahan Nritto Shahadat, were jailed before being let out on bail two months later.
If convicted, they could face jail terms of between seven and 14 years, plus a fine.
The charges have been brought under legislation designed to protect women and children from domestic abuse.
