Rising Pune Supergiant have added Shardul Thakur to their line-up for the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League, it was revealed on Monday (March 6). Thakur has played just one game in the tournament when he represented Kings XI Punjab in the game against Delhi Daredevils at the Feroz Shah Kotla in 2015.
In the game against Daredevils, he gave away 38 runs from his three overs for a wicket. Thakur was part of the Punjab set-up last season as well but was asked to leave the tournament mid-way after their campaign went pear shaped.

This is the second signing Supergiant have made after acquiring the services of Mayank Agarwal from Daredevils. They have made a number of decisions ahead of this year's tournament. They appointed Steve Smith as the captain in place of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and also bagged Ben Stokes for a whopping Rs 14.5 crore in the auction last month to strengthen their line-up.
